BOAT, CANOE AND PADDLE BOAT ​​RENTAL
Campers staying with us at Flat Rapids can rent aluminum fishing boats with motors to explore and fish on the French River. Please note boat operators must have a Pleasure Craft Operators License prior to renting.

If a slower speed is more your pace we also have canoes, and a paddle boat available for your enjoyment. Paddlers can spend countless hours appreciating the peacefulness of the river.
SWIMMING
There's nothing like cooling off in the fresh water of the French River on a hot summer day. Our sandy beach provides an excellent area for sandcastle building, sun tanning, and swimming. Like they say, "A good day at the beach ends with sandy toes and a sun kissed nose."
FISHING
Many favourable fishing spots can be found along the French River. Some of the popular fish species you can catch include, Northern Pike, Walleye, Small-mouth Bass, Muskie and many more.
